The Sports Day 2014 of St Aloysius Evening Pre University College was officially inaugurated by Mr Nishith Shetty, Manager, Zeus Fitness Academy, Mangaluru on 16 November 2014 at 9.30 a.m in the Gonzaga Grounds. Four teams of the Evening PU College marched to mark the sports Day. The Principal of the College Rev. Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ , Principal encouraged the students by citing the example of K.L Rahul, Alumnus of our College. The Coordinator of the College Dr Pradeep M and Mr Naveen Kumar, Physical Director were present on the dais. Pawan Singh of the Commerce batch rendered the oath. Renzil of the Commerce batch compeered the programme. Miss Mable DSouza welcomed the gathering and Mr Alwin DSouza Proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The day was packed with track events, Volley Ball matches and tug of war between the different batches. The attraction of the day was the tug of war between the staff and students with the staff winning the Tug of War.

The Valedictory Ceremony was held at 3.30pm with the four teams marching to mark the closing of the Sports. The chief guest of the programme Rev Fr Edward Rodrigues SJ, Headmaster, St Aloysius High School and Secretary, MJES encouraged the students and said that they should surpass their teachers and also gave away the prizes. The president of the programme Rev Fr Joseph D’Souza SJ motivated the students to excel in all fields. The Principal of the College Rev. Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ, Coordinator of the College, Dr Pradeep M and Mr Naveen Kumar, Physical Director were present on the dais. The College flag was taken around the ground and handed over to the Physical Director for the next Sports Day. Miss Asha welcomed the gathering and Miss Akshatha Proposed the Vote of Thanks. The day ended with Baila dance from the students.
