CELEBRATING THE SPIRIT OF PATRIOTISM
The celebration of integrity was held on 18 August 2014 in St Aloysius Evening College in the Loyola Hall. The programme commenced with the invocation to God followed by the welcome address by the coordinator of the College Dr Pradeep M. Speaking on the occasion the Chief guest Dr Ganesh Amin, Dean , St Aloysius PU College urged the students to live in harmony with all religions and said that “We do not need to hurl slogans or organize processions in the name of National Integration but we need to have a heart filled with love and brotherhood.” The Principal of the College, Rev Fr Melwin Mendonca SJ in his presidential remarks said that ,“ All of us need to keep in mind the efforts of our national leaders and carry on the spirit of patriotism. We have to have a peaceful co-existence with all religions.” Mrs Vipula Shetty , the coordinator of the programme proposed the vote of Thanks. The students participated in the patriotic singing competition to commemorate the Independence Day Celebration.
